Service Computer Repair - Website Design - Data Recovery

A couple of months back I was meeting with a client at Barnes and Nobles in Santa Rosa.  I parked in the parking lot of the store and thought nothing of it.  After a great meeting at the Starbucks in the bookstore I went outside and there was a  ticket on my car stating that my “vehicle was parked in excess of the posted time limit.”  After getting home I decided I was not paying it.  I go to a store, give them my business, and they punish me for it.  I was unhappy to say the least.

I wrote a note stating I was disputing the ticket and that it was not right.  A few weeks later, this came in the mail:

Parking Ticket In Santa Rosa, ca

I almost payed this today with great frustration.  I instead decided to do some more research.   This is what I found.

The parking ticket turned out to be some big Scam. Thank you internet!

I would not worry about it. Just make sure it is from the same address as image above. The red flag was the bill coming from San Fransisco. They wanted me to send them a check with my card number on it and I could not pay online. But make sure its from the same place. I have not heard anything from them up to this point.

I just received a "ticket" from PCS under similar circumstances. Has there been any follow up? am I safe just throwing it away or are they going to try and take me to small claims court/ruin my credit over this?
